- Faculty Position - Glaucoma Specialist
Description
We are recruiting a highly motivated, academically oriented glaucoma specialist to join a dynamic and collaborative faculty.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
- Fellowship training in vitreretinal surgery
- Board certification in ophthalmology
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and education
The selected candidate will provide comprehensive glaucoma care across one or more Baylor-affiliated clinical sites, including:
- Alkek Eye Center
- Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center
- Ben Taub Hospital (Harris Health System
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical and surgical retina care to a diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of glaucoma pathology
- Actively engage in the education and mentorship of residents and fellows
- Research involvement is highly encouraged but not mandatory
