Description
Job Type: Full-Time | Duration: 5 Months | Salary: $6,000–$7,000/month | Experience: 1–2 Years | Function: Field
The Field Director will manage all direct field operations to build relationships with voters and increase turnout. The Field Director will oversee the campaign's individual voter outreach plan, manage day-to-day operations of field organizers, volunteers, and fellows, and serve as the campaign's primary liaison to the Delaware Coordinated Campaign.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a field and organizing plan with the Campaign Manager
Directly manage field organizers and field interns
Recruit, train, and support field organizers, fellows, and volunteers at every stage of the campaign
Organize, lead, and attend outreach events
Schedule, recruit for, and launch phone banks and canvasses
Meet weekly door-knocking and phone call goals and ensure volunteers are properly trained
Maintain accurate field data for use across the campaign
Provide the candidate, consultants, and senior staff with daily quantitative and qualitative reports on field program activity
Support the political team on an as-needed basis
Utilize current technology to build and scale the field program

Requirements
Two cycles of campaign experience preferred, with at least one cycle in a paid role with demonstrated leadership responsibility
Demonstrated commitment to Democratic values and policy priorities
Experience with community organizing and movement building; distributed organizing experience a plus
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, active listening, and professional communication
Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep others on track as well
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Self-starter with strong time management and problem-solving skills
Experience with Google Suite and NGP VAN highly preferred; Mobilize, Reach, Scale to Win, or similar tools a plus
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a smartphone, and a computer
Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends
