Description

Build the Wave is a political consulting firm specializing in grassroots fundraising and digital programs for campaigns and progressive organizations. We’re looking for a Field Organizer to oversee a field operations for a competitive red-to-blue New York State Senate campaign on Long Island through Election Day. This is a top-tier race, in one of the most competitive legislative districts in the state.

Prior Experience is preferred, but not required.

Timeline: We are seeking a Field Organizer who can begin as soon as possible.

Important: While preference will be given to those residing on Long Island or in the NYC area, qualified applicants willing to relocate temporarily to Long Island are strongly encouraged to apply. The campaign will assist with temporary housing.

Requirements

The Field Organizer will work closely with the candidate and our campaign team to build and execute a winning field strategy.

The ideal candidate is a strong manager and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced campaign environment, can recruit and manage a large team of paid canvassers, and understands what it takes to win a competitive suburban race.
