Description

Alex Vindman for Florida is seeking a Florida Finance Director for the 2026 campaign cycle to
lead our in-state fundraising program. This senior role oversees the strategic direction and
day-to-day execution of all Florida-based fundraising activity, including events, the campaign’s
finance committee, and coordination with the campaign’s joint fundraising efforts. The Florida
Finance Director reports to the Finance Director and manages the Florida events team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire Florida events program, from prospecting and host recruitment
  through event execution and post-event follow-up
• Develop and maintain the Florida events finance plan, including revenue projections,
  stream-level targets, and pacing against quarterly benchmarks
• Manage the Florida events staff, including the Florida Events Manager and supporting
  finance assistants, setting clear priorities, workflows, and performance expectations
• Build, recruit for, and manage the campaign’s finance committee, including cultivating
  members, setting raise commitments, and keeping them engaged and accountable
  throughout the cycle
• Assist in raising into the campaign’s victory fund, coordinating closely with the Finance
  Director and national fundraising team
• Cultivate and steward major donor relationships across Florida through one-on-one
  donor meetings, call time, and candidate engagement
• Partner with the Finance Director and National Deputy Finance Director to ensure
  Florida activity is fully integrated with the broader national fundraising program
• Prepare the candidate for Florida events and donor engagements with detailed briefing
  documents and strategic context
• Manage vendor and consultant relationships relevant to Florida events and finance
  committee operations
• Other responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Previous political finance experience required; Senate, gubernatorial, or comparable
  high-dollar statewide campaign experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience managing finance staff
• Demonstrated experience building and managing a finance committee
• Experience developing finance plans, revenue projections, and stream-level budgeting
• Florida fundraising network and/or prior Florida campaign experience strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, written, and interpersonal skills
• Impeccable follow-up and follow-through
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in NGP required; working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets required
• Willingness to travel across Florida and work weekends is required
