At Powerhouse Canberra, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven and passionate Physiotherapist to join our team full time.
Located inside the EPC Solar Hockey Stadium in Canberra’s thriving Lyneham Sporting Precinct, Powerhouse Canberra has spent more than 20 years building a reputation for delivering “World Class, Locally.”
We are proud to work alongside some of the region’s leading sporting organisations including Hockey ACT, Hockey Australia, Volleyball ACT, and multiple soccer and rugby league clubs throughout Canberra. From grassroots athletes to internationals, we help people perform better, recover faster and stay in the game.

Our purpose-built facility includes:
- A fully equipped gym
- Recovery Zone with ice baths, infrared saunas and compression boots
- Advanced strength and performance testing technology

You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team of physiotherapists, an exercise physiologist and massage therapist as well as personal trainers who genuinely love what they do.
What You’ll Be Treating
You’ll work with a wide and varied caseload including:
- Recreational through to elite and international athletes
- Acute sporting injuries
- Pre and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation
- General musculoskeletal conditions, NDIS and Workers compensation clients
Whether it’s returning an athlete to competition, helping a client recover after surgery, or guiding someone back to confidence in the gym, we pride ourselves on getting real results and making a genuine impact.

Requirements
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum 2–3 years clinical physiotherapy experience preferred
- Strong musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills
- Passion for sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation and performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend sports coverage as required
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Experience working with sporting teams or athletes
- Strength and conditioning or gym-based rehabilitation experience
- Dry needling qualifications
- Experience with return-to-sport rehabilitation
