At Ocean Physiotherapy, we’re growing our local team to help more people across the Bellarine Peninsula improve their health, movement and wellbeing.
This role offers an established home-based caseload across the Bellarine Peninsula, with growth opportunities in our new clinic-based service in Drysdale, as well as contribution to our established local retirement village clinics and hydrotherapy groups.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Grade 2 or Grade 3 physiotherapist who enjoys autonomy, therapeutic relationships, practical rehabilitation, and seeing the real-life impact of their work.

About Us
Ocean Physiotherapy is a locally owned business delivering high-quality physiotherapy, care and rehabilitation across the Bellarine Peninsula.
Over the past five years, we have built a strong mobile and home-based physiotherapy service, supporting clients in their homes, local retirement villages and community settings. We also run regular hydrotherapy groups and are now expanding with a new clinic in the heart of Drysdale.

About the position
In this role, you will assess, plan and deliver physiotherapy services for a mixed caseload of clients. The role may include:
- Home-based physiotherapy across the Bellarine Peninsula
- Clinic-based appointments in Drysdale
- On-site physiotherapy sessions at local retirement villages
- Hydrotherapy group cover or leadership
- Assessment, treatment planning/delivery, rehabilitation, and client education
- Communication with families, referrers and other care providers where appropriate
There is an established caseload available now (up to 0.4-0.6 EFT), along with pending leave coverage and a growth plan for the role. While a casual role is advertised, part-time or full-time opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate as the role develops. Contractor arrangements may also be considered depending on experience, availability and preferred working structure.
Above award remuneration rates of $60-$90+ reflecting your experience, PLUS superannuation guarantee, as well as BONUS incentives and a negotiable PD budget available. (This remuneration package is equivalent to over $132,000-$199,000 at full time hours!).
Requirements
Preferred Candidates:
We are looking for someone who has
- A genuine interest and commitment in supporting the health and function of our local community
- Clinical interest or skills to service neurological, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, older adult or community care caseloads
- Confidence and experience to manage a varied caseload in community, mobile or private practice settings
- Resilience, initiative and flexibility to work independently at times while still working collaboratively in a team
- A practical, client-centred approach to assessment and rehabilitation
- Strong communication and therapeutic relationship skills
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Experience with acute or progressive neurological conditions, domiciliary care, hydrotherapy work would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right person.

Essential Requirements:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA / Physiotherapy Board of Australia registration and recognised degree as a physiotherapist
- Ability to drive with a current valid driver's licence (with own access to reliable, registered and insured vehicle)
- Recent and clear National Criminal Records Check/Police check (issued within the past 12 months, or agreeance to complete upon recruitment).
- Level 2 First Aid and CPR qualification (or agreeance to complete upon recruitment)
- Suitable professional indemnity and public liability insurance (Active to $20M, such as the APA member's insurance)
- Australian Working Rights (without limiting restrictions)
