This role blends outpatient clinic work with inpatient consults, creating a balanced cardiology practice with built-in continuity. The structure includes a defined weekly schedule and shared call responsibilities.

Practice & Cases

• General cardiology including stress tests, echocardiography, and nuclear reads
• Adult-only patient population
• Optional procedures such as TEE and cardioversion

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm
• Friday 8am to 12pm
• Call rotation averaging 7 days per month
• Combination of weekday and weekend call blocks

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active North Carolina license required
• BLS and DEA required
