- Movement Disorders Neurologist Opportunity in Palm Beach, Florida

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Movement Disorders Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The incoming provider, who will report to the Chief of Neurology and Director of Movement Disorder Neurology, will join a large and well-supported team of 31 interdisciplinary physicians and 21 advanced practice providers caring for patients in seven locations across Broward and Palm Beach counties.

- Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
- Candidates must beBoard Eligible/Board Certified inNeurologyby the American Board ofPsychiatryand Neurology (ABPN)withadditionalfellowship training in Movement Disorders
- Preferred candidates will have experience in diagnosing and managing Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, dystonia, tremors, and other movement disorders and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Candidate will evaluate and manage patients for advanced therapies including Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in collaboration with neurosurgery teams and will also perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing disease management
- The Marcus Neuroscience Institute, located at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in a 57,000-square-foot facility, includes a 20-bed neuroscience intensive care unit and four dedicated operating rooms, including intraoperative MRI and CT technology, as well as a biplane angiography suite
- Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018, and most recently launched a 16-resident neurology program at FIU in 2025
- Candidate can participate in department seminars, case conferences, and interdisciplinary education while also engaging in scholarly activity including research, publications, and presentations and can participate in outcomes-based research and clinical trials related to movement disorders
