Summary/Primary Role:
Premier Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team. This physician will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical group.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases and disorders.
Perform comprehensive cardiovascular consultations in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Interpret and oversee non-invasive cardiac testing, including: Echocardiography (Transthoracic and Transesophageal)
Stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
Holter and event monitoring
Nuclear cardiology studies (if credentialed)
Cardiac CT and other advanced imaging studies (if trained)
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Manage patients with conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, and hospital staff to coordinate patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Participate in hospital rounding and shared call coverage as determined by the practice.
Provide patient and family education regarding cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
All other duties and responsibilities as required.
Expected Hours of Work & Compensation:
An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week to maintain full-time status for benefits eligibility purposes, consistent with the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Practice's benefits plan. Notwithstanding this benefits eligibility threshold, the expectations of the position require employees to work an average of forty (40) hours per week, with overtime required as scheduled based on operational needs. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws. Exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of their position and are not eligible for overtime compensation. Overtime requirements and scheduling will be determined by the operational needs of the organization.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Premier Medical Group also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $400,000.00-$500,000.00.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency.
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
Licensure and Certification
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Unrestricted New York State medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
DEA registration and New York State controlled substance registration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to Strong clinical skills in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
Proficiency in interpreting non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Travel Requirements:
Travel between Premier Medical Group office locations may be required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position may have supervisory responsibility for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) within the Cardiology Department.
