Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) ($58–$85+/hour + benefits), Full-Time Preferred
RISE is a small multidisciplinary teaching and learning clinic located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, that values Respect, Integrity, Service, and Education. We strive to provide compassionate, high-quality care for the diverse clients we serve in Santa Fe and throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate clients' fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, feeding, and functional skills to identify strengths and areas of need.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique goals, promoting independence and participation in daily activities.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services addressing fine motor development, sensory integration, self-regulation, activities of daily living (ADLs), feeding, visual-motor integration, executive functioning, and other areas of occupational performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and payer requirements.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, medical providers, educators, and family members to support each client's progress.
- Education and Training: Provide education, coaching, and home program recommendations to clients, families, and caregivers to support skill development beyond therapy sessions.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current or eligible for New Mexico Occupational Therapy licensure. Pediatric experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, a willingness to learn and grow, and a compassionate, family-centered approach to care.
