Forest Lake, QLD | Full-time, part-time, casual or sub-contract | $80,000–$130,000 + super
Space to Grow is a paediatric and adult Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy clinic based in Forest Lake, and one of only a handful of dedicated allied health therapy services in the area.
We work with children, young people and adults across neurological, behavioural and developmental needs. Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and play-based, with a focus on creating a safe space for children and their families to grow.
At Space to Grow, we take looking after our clients and families seriously and this includes you.
That means having a say in your caseload. Having time to actually finish your notes. Being able to speak up when you're stretched. Having colleagues who notice when you've had a big day. And working somewhere that knows how to play and have fun! :)
What we offer:
- Salary $80,000–$130,000 + super, depending on experience and negotiable for the right person
- Sign-on bonus, paid half on commencement and half after probation
- Relocation assistance for the right interstate or out-of-area candidate
- Sub-contractor option with an attractive percentage split, if that suits you better
- $1,500 annual PD budget + dedicated PD leave days (full-time employees)
- Performance bonus: meet and exceed your KPIs and share the upside as cash, extra leave, or gift cards, your choice
- A paid day off for your birthday
- Kilometre reimbursement for home, daycare and school visits
- Autonomy over your calendar and your caseload
What makes us different?
- Consistent Mentorship. You'll receive consistent supervision from a clinician with 20+ years' experience. Whether you're a new grad finding your feet or 1–2 years in and ready for more autonomy, you'll have someone in your corner.
- We protect your time. One hour of protected admin time every Friday afternoon, plus billable time built in for notes and planning.
- You choose how you work. Full-time, part-time, casual, or sub-contract with an attractive percentage split, whatever suits your life right now.
- Well-resourced clinic, easy days. Furnished and fully equipped therapy rooms, parking out front, and a bakery next door for the days that require emergency pastries.
The role:
- Comprehensive OT assessment and ongoing therapy
- Working collaboratively with families and our multidisciplinary team
- Clinic, home, school and daycare visits
- Regular supervision and mentoring built into your work
- Developing a caseload that reflects your interests and strengths
- Genuine input into how our services evolve as Space to Grow continues to grow
