Operations Manager or Deputy Operations Director (Full-time, Temporary)

Resonance Campaigns, a growing political direct mail firm, is seeking an Operations Manager or Deputy Operations Director for the 2026 cycle. This role will support the Operations Director with bookkeeping and other administrative tasks.
This seasonal role will begin in July and run through November 2026 in a fun, fast-paced environment with a friendly and hard-working team. This position is hybrid-remote based out of our DC office with the potential to be fully remote.
We are open to hiring at a Manager or Deputy Director level, depending on industry-specific experience as detailed below.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in finance or operations on a political campaign
- High level of organization, meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities and to work well under pressure
- Strong computer skills as relates to Google Suite, MacOS, and generally tech savvy
- A commitment to electing Democrats to public office
Additional Skills and Qualifications for Deputy Operations Director:
- 2+ years of experience working in finance or operations on a political campaign
- Experience with QuickBooks or a demonstrated ability to work with accounting systems
- Experience tracking accounts payable or accounts receivable
Requirements
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process and track accounts payable and update job costs
- Produce, send, and follow up on all client invoices/accounts receivable
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Salary and Benefits:
The Operations Manager position is paying a salary of $65,000 - $75,000/year, commensurate with experience, plus the opportunity for a post election bonus.
The Deputy Operations Director position is paying a salary of $75,000 - $90,000/year, commensurate with experience, plus the opportunity for a post election bonus.
Resonance Campaigns also offers 100% employer-paid premiums for employee health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
