Description
Part-Time Licensed Massage Therapist – Prenatal & Postpartum Focus
Take Care Mama Massage | Littleton, Colorado
$45–$55 per hands-on massage hour + $20/hour paid non-service time | Part-Time W-2
Take Care Mama Massage is an award-winning boutique massage practice specializing in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and women's wellness.
We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Licensed Massage Therapist who wants to develop a long-term career in specialized perinatal care.
This is not a high-volume spa position.
We believe massage therapy is healthcare—not a luxury. Our clients seek us out for thoughtful, individualized care during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. We intentionally maintain a slower pace, provide 30 minutes of paid transition time between appointments, and invest in mentorship and continuing professional development.
Compensation
Hands-on massage: $45–$55 per massage hour, based on experience, qualifications, and advanced training.
Required non-service time: $20/hour, including:
30-minute paid transition time between clients
Charting/documentation
Treatment-room turnover
Required meetings
Required training
Other assigned non-service responsibilities
Take Care Mama Massage is a gratuity-free practice. We believe therapists should receive transparent professional compensation without depending on tips to make their compensation worthwhile.
This is a W-2 employee position, not an independent-contractor position.
Schedule
We are currently hiring for:
Weekday evenings
Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday: 5:30 PM–9:00 PM
Weekends
Saturday and/or Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekend availability is required.
We anticipate initially scheduling the right therapist approximately 1–2 days per week, with the potential for additional hours as the practice and therapist's caseload grow.
Please note:
This is a growing position. Take Care Mama Massage has strong existing client demand, but a newly hired therapist will still need time to build their own caseload within the practice.
Appointment volume may vary during the first several months, and a fully booked schedule is not guaranteed immediately.
A Different Pace of Massage
We intentionally schedule 30 minutes between appointments.
Rather than expecting therapists to complete documentation, turn over a treatment room, take care of themselves, and prepare for another client in 10–15 minutes, we believe both therapists and clients benefit from a more sustainable pace.
This paid transition time allows you to complete documentation, reset your room, assist with client needs, use the restroom, eat, hydrate, and mentally and physically prepare for your next client.
