Premier Orthopeadics is currently seeking a full-time, part-time and PRN Physical Therapists to join our team of professionals at various locations throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our physical therapists work closely with the best and most advanced orthopedic surgeons.

Position Summary 

The Physical Therapist assesses, treats, and manages patients with orthopedic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and patients, providing patient education, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides, and serving as a resource for the Physical Therapy team.  The position includes $1,750 annual CME/CEU reimbursement.  

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and establish goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with physicians, patients, and families
• Ensure appropriate treatments are performed in an interdisciplinary manner, consulting with physicians on patient care
• Document findings, treatments, and other patient information accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on therapies, exercises, and home care instructions
• Serve as an information and education resource for patients, families, and staff
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy AidesSupport ongoing education and professional development of the Physical Therapy staff

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
Master’s degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
Doctorate degree and current certification as a physical therapist accepted
 
Licenses & Certifications: 
Current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania (or willing to apply for PA license)BLS Certificate Required

Experience:
Experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic preferred
