Description
Physical Therapist – Future Partner | Lufkin, TX
Angelina Rehabilitation Center | Lufkin, Texas
We Are Looking for Our Next Partner.
Not someday. Not vaguely. We are actively seeking a Physical Therapist who has the clinical excellence, leadership ability, and community commitment to become an equity partner in Angelina Rehabilitation Center. If that is the career you have been looking for, keep reading.
This Role Was Designed With Partnership in Mind
Most PT job postings offer a salary and a benefits package. This one offers something different — a front door into ownership. We have built a structured, transparent pathway to partnership for the right candidate, and we are ready to walk that road with the person who earns it.
This is not a carrot we dangle. It is a commitment we are making. We want a clinician who will grow with us, lead with us, and ultimately have a real financial and professional stake in what we build together in East Texas.
If you have ever thought "I want to own something one day" — this is your opportunity to start that journey without starting from scratch.
Who We Are
Angelina Rehabilitation Center exists to serve as a meaningful part of the Lufkin and East Texas community — not just for today, but for multiple generations to come. We have helping patients in their recovery since 2005 and we understand the value of our service goes far beyond physical therapy. Instead, we make sure every patient knows we are emotionally invested in their recovery — not just clinically present for it. Our patients trust us with some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives, and we take that seriously.
We also believe great care is never just one person's job. The entire team — from front desk to clinical staff — is oriented around serving the patient together. And we believe expertise is an ongoing endeavor. We don't hire people who think they've arrived. We hire people who are driven to keep moving forward.
We are building something meant to last decades. We want our next partner to be part of that from the beginning.
What the Partnership Pathway Looks Like
We believe in transparency. Here is what you can expect:
Year 1 — Prove your clinical excellence, build patient relationships, and demonstrate leadership within the team
Year 2 — Take on expanded clinical and operational leadership responsibilities; equity begins to earn this year — no buy-in required
Year 5 — Your equity is fully vested. You have built something real, and now you own a piece of it.
This is a real pathway with real milestones — not a vague promise buried in an offer letter.
What You'll Do
Evaluate and treat a diverse outpatient caseload across orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical diagnoses
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans anchored in genuine patient relationships
Lead, mentor, and elevate the clinical team around you
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the full care team to optimize outcomes
Contribute actively to the clinical and operational direction of the facility
Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with CORF standards
What We're Looking For
This role is for a PT who thinks like a future owner — because that is exactly what we are hoping they become. You are:
A leader by nature — people look to you, and you rise to it
Emotionally invested in your patients — you understand that recovery is about the whole person, not just the diagnosis
A team builder — you believe the best outcomes come from everyone serving the patient together
A lifelong learner — you treat continuing education as a professional obligation, not a checkbox
Community-rooted — you want to know your patients' names, their families, and their stories for years to come
Partnership-minded — you have thought about ownership and you are ready to pursue it the right way
What We Offer
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
Health, dental, and vision benefits
Paid time off and continuing education allowance
Relocation assistance available
Manageable, meaningful caseloads — time to actually know your patients
A whole-team culture built around the patient, not just the clinician
A formal, structured equity partnership pathway — equity begins earning in Year 2 with no buy-in required, and fully vests at Year 5
