Description
Exciting opportunity for a physical therapist with strong orthopedic skills to work with experienced, caring staff in a family friendly, physical therapist owned practice. Looking for a position with emphasis on quality care rather than quantity of patients? This is the place for you. All treatments are 1 therapist to 1 patient/hour. Hours negotiable between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, and from part time to full time, agreed upon at hiring. Part time position could be perfect for a parent wanting to work, and also be home with their children before and after school. Requirements
Education and Experience: graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, currently licensed in Pennsylvania, Direct Access certificate preferred (required when eligible), skilled in manual therapy and exercise prescription
Responsibilities:
A. Performs patient examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment in compliance with the American Physical Therapy Association’s Guide to Physical Therapist Practice, current evidence-based medicine, and the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Physical Therapy
B. Communicates care of the patient via timely, accurate and legible documentation in the patient chart, physician progress notes, and applicable Medicare forms
C. Reviews and stays current with professional literature and shares information with clinical staff
D. Performs and conducts oneself within the Code of Ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association
