Seeking Social Workers: LMSWs and LCSWs
The League School is a school-based Day Treatment program for students ages 5-21 with psychiatric disorders who may also have learning difficulties. The program specializes in working with students who have difficulty with social, emotional and behavioral functioning. We offer a competitive academic curriculum in a multidisciplinary team setting, consisting of special education teachers, teaching assistants, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, clinical psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, art therapists, and a support team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and group therapy as well as providing social skills training, family therapy, case management, and parent training.
- Developing treatment plans as well as conducting psychosocial evaluations and writing updates
- Working with our behavior support team which performs functional analyses
- Developing behavior intervention plans, consulting with classroom staff and assisting with physical management of the children
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and other evidence-based interventions
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrist, psychologists, social workers, creative arts therapists, speech/language pathologists, occupational/physical therapists and teachers.
- Physical intervention such as playing, holding, and lifting children.
- Licensed professionals will have an opportunity to supervise externs and interns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or any related behavioral health or human service fields.
- License required: LMSW, LCSW, Limited Permit Eligible

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
