Description

You will play a critical role in generating investment insights, developing sector theses and driving long-term value creation across the portfolio. As a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and an ambassador of the firm within the venture ecosystem, you will play an instrumental role in strengthening relationships with founders, co-investors, strategic partners, incubators, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end investment processes from sourcing to closing.
2. Evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, business models, and growth potential.
3. Work closely with portfolio companies to support growth initiatives, fundraising activities, strategic planning, and governance matters.
4. Monitor financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
5. Identify emerging technology trends and disruptive market opportunities.
6. Develop investment theses aligned with fund strategy and market dynamics.
7. Monitor venture capital markets, startup ecosystems, and competitive investment activity.
8. Participate in fundraising, investor communications, and portfolio reporting initiatives.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with LPs, co-investors, strategic partners, and ecosystem participants.

Qualifications

1. Over 10 years of relevant experience including direct investing experience withinn venture capital, growth equity.
2. Demonstrated track record of successfully executing venture investments from sourcing through exit.
3. Experience serving on boards or working closely with startup founders and management teams.
4. Strong understanding of Asia Pacific venture capital ecosystems.
5. Deep understanding of technology sectors and startup business models.
6. Strong entrepreneurial mindset and commercial acumen.
7. Excellent relationship-building and networking capabilities.
8. Proficiency in English, Cantonese/Mandarin/Bahasa.
