Garden State Veterinary Services is looking to add a full-time, board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to our well-established, rapidly growing 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital!
Who We Are
GSVS Woodbridge is part of a network of three 24-hour emergency and referral hospitals, including Garden State Veterinary Specialists (GSVS) in Eatontown, NJ, and Greater Staten Island Veterinary Specialists (GSIVS) in Staten Island, NY. Care is closely coordinated across all locations, giving our patients seamless access to a broader team of specialists and resources.
We honor the special bond between you and your veterinarian and are committed to making the referral experience one of personal service in a caring and nurturing environment.
Garden State Veterinary Services is a centrally located New Jersey ER/specialty practice in a prime location with access to the beach, the Poconos and Catskill mountains, as well as the vibrant cities of Philadelphia and New York. Our brand-new, state-of-the-art, 30,000 sq-ft facility in Woodbridge, NJ has been thoughtfully designed and houses brand-new, state-of-the-art CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy equipment. Our hospital culture is collaborative and fun, evidenced by our high retention of doctors and staff.
Our Legacy
Dr. Scavelli established our partner hospital, Garden State Veterinary Specialists, in 1994 with a revolutionary concept: a referral-only specialty practice where veterinary specialists collaborate as a unified team. This model — unique at the time — was designed to provide referred patients with comprehensive care, expert consultations across multiple disciplines, and access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. That same philosophy continues to guide every hospital in our network today, including GSVS Woodbridge.
Our emergency doctors, board-certified specialists, and clinical teams combine elite training with hands-on experience to deliver precision, compassion, and life-saving care to pets in Woodbridge and beyond.
How You Will Make a Difference
