Brookfield Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative, welcoming team in Brookfield, Connecticut.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you will support patient care, doctor workflow, and client communication while helping our team provide excellent medicine.

Responsibilities may include:

• Patient care and nursing support
• Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Laboratory diagnostics
• Surgery support
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Radiology support
• Treatment support
• Client communication
• General clinical workflow support

Who We're Looking For

• Experienced Veterinary Technician
• Credentialed preferred, but not required
• Strong technical foundation
• Reliable and dependable
• Positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working in a busy GP environment
• Interested in contributing to a supportive, established team

Connecticut does not require credentialing for veterinary technicians, and we value experienced technicians from both credentialed and non-credentialed backgrounds.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) preferred but not required
• Prior leadership or management experience required
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
