Based in eastern Massachusetts, Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is an integrated health system that brings together academic medical centers and teaching hospitals, community and specialty hospitals, and more than 5,900 physicians and 35,000 employees in a shared mission to create healthier communities — one person at a time —through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.

BILH was formed in 2019 through the merger of five renowned health systems and hospitals, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (formerly known as Lahey Clinic), Anna Jaques Hospital, Mount Auburn Hospital and New England Baptist Hospital. BILH is committed to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families, in the communities it serves, and for the talented caregivers and staff who make that possible. Foundational to that mission is expanding access to exceptional care by strengthening community-based resources through investment in the local clinicians, hospitals and health services and by supporting vulnerable and underserved populations to reduce health disparities.
