Description
SUMMARY
Operating under the oversight of the Clinical Director, the Therapist is responsible for providing mental health services to individuals, couples, children, and families impacted by grief and loss. Therapist will work with a wide range of clients, create treatment plans, and diagnostically assess for additional appropriate services as needed. This position may be filled by fully licensed mental health professionals including LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Oklahoma.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct mental health assessments for children, adolescents, adults and develop treatment plans accordingly
- Deliver individual, family and/or couple therapy to clients, providing direct service to at least 10 clients per week
- Maintain current and accurate clinical documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and contacts into the electronic systems in a timely manner
- Design, develop, and facilitate grief-focused mental health trainings to support clinical competency and best practices
- Follow processes and protocols outlined by Clinical Director and in accordance with Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS)
- Attend team and staff meetings and trainings as scheduled

- Work collaboratively as a cooperative and supportive team member
- Utilize reflective supervision effectively
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written forms
- Communicate respectfully with peers, volunteers, and stakeholders while handling confidential information discreetly
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
Licensed in Oklahoma as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Clearance of background check
Retain Professional Liability Insurance
Participate in and attend agency-wide fundraising, recognition, and other organizational events as required (may include evenings/weekends)
